Bassist Wan-Ling Chuang received her Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music degrees from the Eastman School of Music.  As an orchestral double bass player, Wan-Ling Chuang started her professional orchestral career performing at the age of 19, performing with the Taipei Symphony and Taipei Philharmonic in Taiwan as well as the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, Binghamton Philharmonic,Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra of the Northern New York and Cayuga Chamber Orchestra. Wan-Ling also plays solo and chamber music extensively. She has performed in live broadcast radio concerts and international music festivals, such as international Villa-Lobos Festival at Virginia Commonwealth University and the 6th European Double Bass Congress and Festival at Italy.

Dr. Chuang was on faculty of Nazareth College, State University of New York at Geneseo and Hochstein School of Music and Dance in Rochester NY. She also served as principal bass at Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes at Corning NY and was Guest Principal Bass at Orchestra of Northern New York at Potsdam NY. .
